GINNY T. HSIAO, ESQ.

Raised in Southern California , Ginny Hsiao attended the University of Tennessee College of Law after completing undergraduate studies in Political Science and Psychology at UCLA. Following the College of Law 's Advocacy Track, Ms. Hsiao demonstrated interest in the areas of trial litigation and pro bono work. Among her activities: President Criminal Law Society; Director UT Pro Bono/Domestic Violence Project/Homeless Project; Dean's Committee on Public Interest Law; Moot Court Board member.

Ms. Hsiao was also a member of the Transactional Staff for the Tennessee Journal of Business Law. Her article, “Failure to Enter Into a Partnership Agreement May Not Negate Partnership Status and Excuse Business Liabilities, was published in the Tennessee Journal of Business Law, vol.3, no.1 Fall 2001.

Furthermore, Ms. Hsiao received the following academic honors: Advocate's Prize Best Brief; Dean's Citation for Outstanding Contribution to the Law School ; Academic Achievement Awards for Pre-Trial Litigation, Family Law, Case Development; National Lawyers Guild Haywood Burns Fellowship. She was also the semi-finalist for the Ray Jenkin's Trial Competition.

Ms. Hsiao returned to California and joined the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office as a certified law clerk, where she prepared and conducted Preliminary Hearings for felony cases at the Office's Whittier Branch. Upon receiving her license, she joined Chou & Chen, LLP as their first associate, bringing her litigation and courtroom experience to the firm.

After two years with Chou & Chen, LLP, Ms. Hsiao became the founder of GTH Law Group and opened her own practice. Ms. Hsiao practiced in the areas of family law, criminal defense, and immigration law. She is currently a member of Los Angeles County Bar Association and San Gabriel Valley Bar Association.
